Apologies to Nietzsche. Truth: So bitter is the pill, the disease is better than the cure. Truth: 1) the theory/model/metaphor which predicts consistent observations, and 2) the predictions are more accurate than those posed by any differing theory/model/metaphor pertaining to the same phenomena. Unabomber: (aka The New Age Warning:) If you're going to "get back to nature", expect to be eaten, sooner or later. Modern Politics: The most significant decisions a voter makes in our media-circus, money-run democracy is what to buy; where to shop; what to eat; which teams and which sports to support; which TV and radio stations to listen to; which “lifestyle” to adopt; where to holiday; where to work. It is the involvement of these, often multinational, organisations in the various areas of twenty-first century life which hold the balance of power in our political system. If we want to make our voices heard, we should think harder about the organisations we support and how they spend the money they get from us. Modern Politics 2: We are the only species who depends on the outcomes of politics for our survival. The Abortion Equation: Pro-Life=Anti-Choice=Anti-Life=Pro-Death Re-writing Nietzsche: There are no moral phenomenon, only moral interpretations of moral interpretations of phenomena. The crucial questions of our time can barely be asked, never-mind answered. This is because our educators and legislators have a vested interest in our ignorance and their own.
Orthodoxy: the state or quality of being orthodox. Orthodox: sound in doctrine, believing, or according to, the received, conventional or established doctrines or opinions. Paradoxy: the state or quality of being paradox. Paradox: something apparently absurd which is or may be really true, contrary to received, conventional or established doctrines or opinions. Fundamentalism is a grave lack of understanding of literary technique and of the history of text. What a strange animal we human beings are! We have ears but do not hear, eyes but do not see and mouths for talking but we employ it the most for eating and drinking. Every thought on site is free; the author is not present. If God, an omnipotent and all-merciful being was to exist, his pain would add an infinite and timeless quality to this world in addition to its finite wretchedness. Because of this, God could not justify his own existence. Human nature or “its only natural to...” This is all nonsense! The very idea of human nature is not natural. Bereavement is always closest at hand on the happiest of days. Nietzsche once asked “what is the value of truth?” And today we are still waiting for an honest answer. All religions are guesswork. Their claims are anthropomorphisms of the ultimate mystery of being. But they are looking in the wrong places, casting their eyes at the sky instead of at each other. Euthansia. Our laws condemn the merciful to be murderers. Revenge is the assurance that those who have harmed and destroyed can never do so to you or to others again. Re-writing old platitudes: "All's fair in love and war." Nothing is fair in love and war. "Great minds think alike." Minds are great when they don't think alike. The Binary Logic of the Capitalist War-Machine - owner and owned, rich and poor, man and woman, black and white, mind and body, death and life, fucker and fucked, right and wrong, sane and insane, straight and bent, good and evil, destroyer and destroyed.
"Destroy all Dreamers with Depression and Debt" First and Last Things Or Beware of the God. First “"In the beginning when god created the heavens and earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And god saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. and there was evening and there was morning, the first day." (Torah - Gen. 1:1-5) "An account of the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Aram, and Aram the father of Aminadab and Aminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon, and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of King David." (New Testament - Matt. 1:1-6) "This is the Book; In it is guidance sure, without doubt, To those who fear Allah; Who believe in the Unseen, Are steadfast in prayer, and have spend out of what we Have provided for them; And who believe in the Revelation Sent to thee, And sent before they time, And (in their hearts) Have the assurance of the hereafter." (Qur-An - The Heifer: 1-4) Last "See, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings. you shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says the LORD of hosts." (Malachi 4: 1-3) "Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates. Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.... I want everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book; if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." (New Testament - Rev. 22: 14-19) "Say: I seek refuge With the Lord And Cherisher of Mankind, The King (or Ruler) Of Mankind, The God (or Judge) Of Mankind, - From the mischief Of the Whisperer (Of Evil), who withdraws (After his whisper), - Who whispers Into the hearts of Mankind, -Among Jinns And among Men." Insect: a small invertebrate creature (spineless) esp. one with a body as if cut into or divided into sections. Head. Thorax. Abdomen. Six legs. Six, the number of people. The Hexagon. 6. The Conscious Self of the Normal person: thinking itself free, and really the toy of its surroundings. 6. Sphere of Sol. (Sun). In her eyes “beauty”. 6. Kis-Angyels singing in Divine Presence. 6. Pit of Destruction. 6. Disputers 6. Heart Lesions. I had a dream last night. I can’t remember much, except it I could see rotting corpse from above. The last thing to rot away was its heart. The skeleton was stripped bare before the blackened husk of the heart fell into the rib-cage and crumpled to dust. He has a dream one night. Another corpse, a young boy with huge wounds. Numerous rats ran in and out of the wounds, gnawing as they went. Their movements agitated the corpse so that is limps twitched, its body arched and its head thrashed from side to side as if in a seizure or state of panic.
Abbagnano. The double aspect theory of possibilities. Existence must be interpreted as the series of possibilities that follow the realization of being and every act of choice. each possibility has positive and negative aspects. I asked the librarian if I could see the interview videos. “I’d like to see my favourite thinkers in the flesh and hear their voices.” “Yes,” she replied regretfully, “all of the philosophers are dead now.” She continued in a serious tone: “I suppose that’s because there is nothing left to think about.” Not only were they dead, but the videos were unavailable. As I left her desk she laughingly called out to me “You won’t find them in Blockbusters!” Corpse, cadaver, carcass, remains, skeleton, case, box, capsule, casket, chest, container, crate, trunk, eclipse, darkening, decline, delirium, extinction, failure, loss, fall, obscuration, occulation, overshadowing, choke, infest, invade, overwhelm, fury, rank, fetid, fusty, putrid, rancid, bind, enslave, bondage, enchain, enthrall, yoke, adore, cherish, worship, prize. words and fragments of a voice in memory of another life. There’s a skeleton in the trunk in the attic. It is easy to love pictures and words. May I romanticise your pain my love? I’ve never asked before. Us encoded, without touching or moving. A thousand mile silence in an eternity expected - but very different. Is it any worse than it could have been? We could have all been killed. |
