Modern Politics: The most significant decisions a voter makes in our media-circus, money-run democracy is what to buy; where to shop; what to eat; which teams and which sports to support; which TV and radio stations to listen to; which “lifestyle” to adopt; where to holiday; where to work. It is the involvement of these, often multinational, organisations in the various areas of twenty-first century life which hold the balance of power in our political system. Re-writing Nietzsche: There are no moral phenomenon, only moral interpretations of moral interpretations of phenomena.

The crucial questions of our time can barely be asked, never-mind answered. This is because our educators and legislators have a vested interest in our ignorance and their own.

I had a dream last night. I can’t remember much, except it I could see rotting corpse from above. The last thing to rot away was its heart. The skeleton was stripped bare before the blackened husk of the heart fell into the rib-cage and crumpled to dust.
